FIRE FRANCHIONE RETURNS

Ok, this should have gone up weeks ago. At the very least, two weeks ago, but I have been both busy and shellshocked.

But ENOUGH ALREADY! Fire this guy!

It was bad enough that Franchione was stupid enough to call a play-action pass on 3rd and goal on the 2 against OU when you have the BEST SHORT YARDAGE BACK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL in the backfield. Then, in a game where you know yardage is at a premium, you kick instead of going for it.

That was bad. Saturday was worse.

How in the name of God do you run a play out of the SHOTGUN on a 3rd down at the 2 yard line? What are you trying to prove?

Oh, wait: he's trying to prove how much smarter he is than everyone in the stands, everyone in the media and everyone else coaching football at any level.

And, like the idiotic call against OU, it failed. And A&M lost. The Aggies have three losses on their record, but the players have only lost one. Franchione has lost the last two all by himself.

Who calls a toss sweep with a true freshman when you're trying to run out the clock? Our hero. Who drops the defense scheme that has stymied Nebraska the entire second half on the last drive? Big Fran.
Who refuses to use Jorvorskie Lane to beat up Nebraska's front line and kill clock? That would be Dennis Franchione.
You know, the same guy who thinks it's cool to throw the ball when you're on the two yard line.
